The unions have worn out their need and welcome. Like the assembly line worker has been replaced by automation the time has come for the unions to face the same fate. We need new laws, possibly even an amendment to the Constitution, taking all the good the unions have accomplished over the years and making them the law of the land.
Replace the unions with laws to protect worker rights. Unions no longer operate for the best interests of the worker. How many of them manipulate and bully workers and businesses; more or less for power grabs that only benefit union leaders?
Union workers ask your self this question are you better off with the union that takes your money every month? What has the union really done for you outside of the cookie cutter benefits? Are the union bosses really in the “trenches” with you or is it all talk like what we hear from the heads of SEIU or the AFL-CIO? Does the head of your union drive a Mercedes or a Chevy? Look at teacher unions for instance it’s all about the teachers but what about the kids? They want this and that meanwhile when they protest and strike who gets hurt? The kids, the ones they are suppose/ claim to care about!
