If I recall Germany became a lot like this right around the time Hitler came to power, allowing people to live frivolously, drug abuse, promiscuity, brutality towards one another, escalation in violence, crime etc etc. This is moral decay and it IS what the progressives want. For progressives the US as we know it must be destroyed in order to reign in their sick and twisted socialist/ marxist/ communist run utopia!
