As expected the only Senator who gave Kerry a hard time today was Rand Paul. Kerry attempted to argue obama has the Constitutional authority to act on his own. The Secretary should have known better to make such a bold statement to one of a few Senators in DC that actually read the Constitution and Federalist Papers! Paul corrected him making it clear Congress has final say citing Madison.
The Senator continued on asking questions he himself answered because there is no way to know what will happen if we strike on Syria. Kerry did his best to justify taking action but the fact remains there is no threat to the US. If Iran get’s involved there is going to be a lot of blood spilled and we will be drawn into this regional war turning to World War.
If acting in the nations best interests for national security then we should sit this out! If Israel gets hit Israel will take care of Israel! They may be the size of NJ but they have as much punch as the US!
