The majority of republicants voted against the clean debt ceiling increase but 28 defected joining 193 democrats to a vote of 221-201. Several of the republicants that voted are also committee heads but take note three of the 28 are House leaders**: 
Boehner, Cantor and McCarthy.
These people as I have said care only for themselves to secure their little kingdoms. The majority of them still have shell-shock from initiating any challenge at this point since the govt shutdown in Oct. For some unknown reason they allowed the shutdown to be pinned on the republicants even though it was a Reid/ obama initiated shutdown. Repubes made 11 attempts to reopen the government but were denied by the emperor and his enforcer.
