“This isn’t America… this isn’t the America I wanna live in”
If this isn’t the perfect example of the outright abuse of power by law enforcement I don’t know what is. Yes we understand our license plates must be visible but to pull someone over at night that’s driving on “dirty” roads as a result of the POLAR VORTEX (record snowfall and ice accumulation where salt & sand are used to make roads drivable) whose license plate got dirty from driving on said dirty roads is pure insanity! There is this thing called common sense many cops have clearly demonstrated they do not possess. Calling cops like this one a jack booted thug is justifiable because many of them use stupid laws, like “your license plate is obscured”, to pull people over so they can nail them on larger violations!
Americans are being robbed, raped and killed but this cop feels the need to harass a citizen over a dirty license plate for driving on a dirty road that made his plate dirty in the first place!!!!!
Anyone falling victim to these types of abuse I beg of you to go ahead and file lawsuits against these LE agencies no matter how small or frivolous they may seem. This abuse of power by, the ever-growing NOW MILITARIZED, law enforcement agencies has remained unchallenged for far too long. We the people Rebels must take a stand and make it clear We ARE THEIR MASTERS, they work for us!
