Chris Daughtry Issues Apology For “I’m Off the Clock” Comment

Chris Daughtry’s admission of “stupidity” in this apology video following his “I’m off the clock” and walk off from Fox & Friends proves no one jumped the gun or took things out of context! He knows he did something wrong otherwise he wouldn’t be apologizing!

His excuse of being thrown off, in a panic and unprepared to sing the first verse of My Country Tis of Thee I’m sorry to say isn’t believable. This is a song taught and sung in most schools for decades (probably not in this progressive day and age). The same goes for other patriotic songs (Star Spangled Banner, God Bless America). Some argue his concern could have been that he didn’t want to screw up (vocally) because it would hurt him and people would be mad over the screw up. I disagree since the setting was clear of an impromptu unprepared encore request, no one would be that critical if he was off on a note or two HONORING those who died on D-Day! Had he done the encore and messed up I think there would have been plenty of people defending him!

That said the fact that he is at least apologizing here should suffice those angry and move on. Most elites rarely admit fault and will try to blame others for their failures. Daughtry didn’t do that so lets cut him some slack… but keep an eye on him!

FYI, I don’t post things on STR to create controversy or cause trouble. I post things to keep American’s informed of news & issues ignored by the media (incl new media), to show people for who and what they are, but also offer solutions on how to deal with the radical left, corrupt politicians, elitists and Hollywood dolts!
