Then when Jefferson became President it only escalated into extortion until he had enough. Jefferson’s solution was the creation of the US Marines; where do you think those infamous lines “to the shores of Tripoli” in the Marine hymn came from?! Jefferson also ordered the printing of the Koran so all of Congress could read about who and what they were up against.
Like Tantaros said radical islamists want to kill us and build a worldwide caliphate. This war between the US and islam has NOTHING to do with oil, it has to do with the very existence and influence of western culture more importantly freedom! True hardcore wahhabi islamists see our very existence as a threat to their way of life. We show the world you don’t have to live under an oppressive government. American influence on their own people is a threat to radical islamist leadership, they must maintain power and control under an iron fist.
