Is it safe to assume fire depts will have to make the same cuts to expenses and staff as we have seen businesses resort to because of fundamental transformation? Maybe it’s just me but the idea of fire depts cutting back on the number of firefighters to avert high healthcare expenses under barackobamacare will not bode well for those of us who will need their help someday! You can see it now “I’m sorry Mr & Mrs Smith we couldn’t put the fire out in time because we didnt have enough firefighters on staff to fight the fire!”
