Judge Napolitano Speaks With Glenn Beck on Syria, Treason & Impeachment: This is a President Disdainful of International Law, Contemptuous of the Constitution

“This is a president disdainful of international law because it frustrates him, contemptuous of the Constitution because if it’s followed it will confine him. He just simply doesn’t care who he decides to kill, who he decides to attack. This is a president whose attorney general said “don’t worry the president wrote rules to govern himself when he decides which Americans to kill”. No American president has ever publicly stated that, Lincoln aside was our civil war on our territory, that he could decide which Americans to kill. Do you think he would sweat for a moment when deciding which Syrians to kill?”

Glenn Beck Judge NapolitanoJudge Napolitano spent the hour talking with Glenn Beck about the mess occupying the White House. They touched on Syria, treason, impeachment, NSA and the rise of libertarians.

The Judge explained the four tests that would justify military action in Syria that would be legal under international law. None of which apply to the US, which led Beck to ask about treason since an attack would be aiding and abetting our enemies.

Judge explained the legal qualification for treason citing 2 people would need to be a witness to the action. He then points out the emperors speech was to 200 million on Sept 10th! He doesn’t think the emperor could be charged with treason because the Justice Department is in his back pocket under Eric Holder. Napolitano does believe under the actions by the NSA 0 could be impeached.

“Yes, I believe we should impeach him for the NSA spying alone. It is the most massive, organized, systematic violation of expressly articulated Constitutional freedoms in the history of the United States, again, putting aside the Civil War era. Treason would be more difficult. Why? A treason charge would have to be brought by a federal prosecutor, which he controls.”
