Democrats like Schumer are talking about the republican party being divided and pushing obamacare will result in a government shut down are scare tactics to pressure the people to reject leaders like Ted Cruz.
The only ones talking shut down are progressives who want a shut down in order to politicize it for the coming 2014 elections. If it does happen it will be because the democrats and obama.

The economy didn’t collapse during any of these shut downs then as Schumer claims will happen this time around. No no when the economy collapses it will be as a result of everything DC and the Fed have done. You MUST make it clear to those around you fearing a shut down that it isn’t that big of a deal and most importantly ALL ESSENTIAL government programs WILL BE FUNDED.
The government does not literally shutdown, there’s always enough money. Our debts will still paid, checks will go out to social security & medicare. The military, law enforcement, intelligence, VA are all covered by statute. Congress has the power on their own to fund anything they want.
