Harry Reid should top the list of the most corrupt politicians in DC. He willfully left out his granddaughters name, Ryan Elisabeth, in Federal Election Commission filing to funnel money to her for campaign gifts. For those hoping this will bring the little SOB down don’t hold your breath. Charlie Rangel dodged his taxes and he didn’t even get a slap on the wrist. What these cases of corruption of members in Congress and even at the state level should be clear indicators the talk of term limits needs to stop and something needs to be brought forward. The problem is we have no one in Congress willing to submit a term limit amendment so what do we do? Our only option is Article V state amendment convention suggested by Mark Levin but again I’m not holding my breath.
We have run out of options to deal with corrupt politicians all we have left are the elections but with so many who sit at home the odds of running monsters like Reid out of office is slim. What should we do? I cannot answer the question because as you know I feel the US is in full distress. Next logical move would be to look at our military to do something, but even they have become complicit with the corruption. Their oath to defend against domestic enemies is discretionary: someone across the ocean hacking our computer networks, manipulating our currencies, bombing US interests etc are fair game… similar types in the US who are bringing down our economy making a mockery of our laws, destroying our infrastructure to make a buck are off limits! I don’t get it an enemy is an enemy but they pick and choose apparently! So as I have said America you choose to be silent for far too long empowers the destroyers of our Republic where no one will take action to remove them and because of that we are on our own!
