Dr Fauci was speaking on a panel sponsored by a Harvard Medical where he expressed his concerns over the spread of the China Virus especially with the coming influenza season. Not surprising the good doctor thinks it would be in out best interests to stay in lockdown throughout fall and winter, into 2021 when we will eventually get a vaccine…. for a bug that has a 99% survival rate.
“What I would like to see is, keeping the lid on it, keeping the baseline (of cases) down until we get a vaccine. And I do believe we’ll likely get a vaccine by the end of the year, by the beginning of 2021. I think that’s going to be the thing that turns it around, I just think we need to hunker down and get through this fall and winter, because it’s not going to be easy. We know every time we restrict.. we lift restrictions, we get a blip. I mean it’s getting – it’s whack-a-mole…”
Covid is just a new strain of flu, that is no more lethal than the seasonal flu he is normally concerned about, that kills 40-80K a year. It is quite baffling how this scientist thinks keeping people isolated vs allowing herd immunity/ allowing nature to take its course which has allowed mankind to survive for thousands of years.
The longer people are cooped up the worse things get. It’s because of HIS policies we keep having these flare-ups! Sweden didn’t have this problem, the bug ran its course. Other nations are fine too especially many African nations who all just happen to have something in common – majority of people are on a drug to thwart malaria, do you know what that drug is!?
This country needs to get back in its feet, the economy needs to get going again or that collapse many have been warning is going to hit very hard. Fauci is acting more like a politician than doctor at this point, it’s time for him to go.
