You can imagine the look of concern portrayed in this HBO movie, John Adams, was close to that of our Founders had when they voted in favor of the Declaration. That look of concern was obvious to them knowing two things:
1) They were on their way to war
2) If they failed to win independence, they would all most certainly be hung for treason by the British
…in other words they put their asses on the line for that they believed in. They gave us this nation and freedom we have squandered away to 535 kings and queens who couldn’t careless about any of us!
